An Inconvenient Truth
The goal of this workshop is to provide faculty and staff of Smithtown with information about global warming. The news is filled with articles every day that link all kinds of environmental issues to global warming. As educators, it is critical that we be informed and have access to information that may help us in several ways. These are:
· A better understanding of the science behind global warming;
· A means of helping our students to understand the science;
· Ideas to empower both ourselves and our students to make a difference.

For those that attended Session 4, we did not get to view the last 3 chapters of the movie. These are so important, go see them!

I never got a chance to see the movie when it was in the theatres, and although we were unable to see it in its entirety, it made enough of an impact! It is criminal if we all do not do something small to help make a big difference! Thanks for offering this to us.
